- Manufacturers agree to supply drugs at these prices to ensure coverage by Medicaid
- Used by VA as benchmark price
- FSS price: equal or better the price offered to most-favored non-federal customers
4. AMP and 5. “Best Price”
- Average price (including cash discounts and other price reductions paid to manufacturers by US wholesalers
- Lowest price (including cash discounts and other price reductions) available to any US wholesaler, retailer, provider, or government entity.
- Report AMP and best prices to CMS
- Confidential prices (but communicated to Medicaid agencies)
